Child Modelling FAQ

             

1. How do I apply to Face on behalf of my child? 

Fill out our online application HERE.

2. What happens after we submit an application?

Applications are reviewed regularly. If you haven't heard back within two weeks, it’s likely your child wasn't selected this time.

3. Do we need professional photos?

Nope! A well-lit, in-focus phone photo (headshot and full length) works perfectly. Professional images may come later if your child is offered representation. 

4. Can a child model with multiple agencies?

Face offers non-sole representation for juniors, we just ask that you speak to us before signing with another agency. 

5. What are the next steps after being accepted?

If your child is offered representation, Face will likely invite you to meet in their Leeds office, and potentially schedule a professional photoshoot session, in our studio. 

6. What should parents consider before applying?

• Be ready for short-notice castings or jobs, often during school hours.

• Be prepared to travel to London, Manchester,  Leeds or elsewhere—especially if jobs come up quickly or require location travel.

In The Spotlight: Shelly Dulieu

 1. How did you get into modelling?

I applied to Face Agency in 2014 where I started off as an extra…

Not long after, Vicky then sent me for a portfolio shoot and took me on as a model.

2. Your best piece of advice for aspiring models?

1. Take some good quality Polaroids.

2. Social media is a great way to get noticed so definitely use that to showcase yourself.

3. If you’re trying to get signed then stay productive and test with reputable photographers to build a portfolio.

3. What has been your favourite shoot to date?

Having a role in one of Aitch’s music videos is probably my favourite to date.

4. If you had to choose someone (besides yourself) to play you in a movie, who would you choose & why?

That’s a tough one! Maybe Rose Byrne because she’s an amazing actress and is very funny! (I like to think I have a good sense of humour) or Gal Gadot because she’s pretty badass and absolutely gorgeous!

5: Best thing about being represented by Face?

The girls in the office are always a pleasure to deal with and I have always felt very well looked after. Face have believed in me from the start and I have had so many great opportunities from them!

6. Which brand would you love to shoot for?

I’m hoping I’ll get the Jet2 gig one year as they seem lovely to work for and I love to travel abroad for work ;)

In The Spotlight : The Beech Family (real-life model family)

1. How did you get into acting / modelling as a family?

It was really the ladies at Face that encouraged us to start working together as a family after signing Elisha (mum).

2. What is your best piece to advice for a family reading this that would like to get into modelling?

Our advice would be to ensure that your family unit is able to work together as a team. Days can sometimes be long and may involve lots of travelling, so try your best to keep everyone’s spirits up by making it a fun enjoyable experience.

3. What has been your favourite shoot so far?

Our favourite shoot so far has to Centreparcs. We had a really magical time shooting for their winter wonderland campaign and it really didn’t feel like work at all.

4. The best thing about being represented by Face?

Face is an extended Family to us! They have watched our children grow up and worked so hard over the years to ensure our success, going above and beyond. We really feel like the team care of us and have our backs 100%

5. Dream brand to work for?

We would love to shoot for Disneyland, Tui or somewhere warm and tropical! ☀️

In The Spotlight: Kesh & Hattie (real life model couple)

 

1. How did you both get into the acting / modelling industry?

Hattie started acting first then realised they go hand in hand so focused on both! Kesh did some photos for the university prospectus which he then used to go into the modelling industry. 

2. Your best piece of advice for aspiring models / actors? 

Take every opportunity and learn from others! There’s a lot to be learnt on set so always stay focused. Take plenty of wardrobe options - it always comes in handy! 

3. What's it like working together? 

Good fun! It’s nice to be able to be on set together & make memories and have each other there for support! Also handy as Kesh can carry the bags! 😂

4. The shoot you both enjoyed shooting together the most?

Our favourite job was on the Christmas shoot Lacey secured us! We ended up in the store magazine which was amazing as everyone saw it and it’s our favourite time of the year (even though we did shoot it in the summer!) 

5: Best thing about being represented by Face? 

The best thing about Face is the amazing opportunities we have been given to work with some top brands. The team in the office are so friendly, we feel we can talk to them about anything ! We can’t wait to pop in again soon and say hello 

6. Your dream brand to model for as a couple? 

Our dream brand to work for would be a holiday destination/ travel company brand! We love travelling the U.K. but would love to go abroad soon.
